Inherited Notes

My collection began with a few banknotes left behind by my grandpa (orange-bordered images below). Most were Orchid series notes in scattered denominations. I decided to complete the series up to the $1000 note. Once my other family members knew I was collecting banknotes, they contributed as well—I received pieces of notes from different series, from my dad (green border), father-in-law (blue), mum (red), and brother-in-law (purple). To fill up the gaps, I sourced the rest myself (grey border) to complete each series up to $1000. Together, these notes formed the foundation of my collection—my very first set of notes. While many of them are old and considerably battered, I cherish them for sentimental reasons and will keep them throughout my life.
